Marc Erhardt

Marc Erhardt currently serves as a Full Professor at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin since October 2017 and as a Max Planck Fellow at the Max Planck Unit for the Science of Pathogens since June 2021. Previously, Marc held the position of Principal Investigator at the Helmholtz Centre for Infection Research from January 2013 to September 2017, and worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Fribourg from May 2011 to January 2013. Marc completed a Ph.D. in Microbiology at the University of Konstanz, following a Master’s Degree in Microbiology and Biochemistry from the same institution. Marc also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in General Biology from Ulm University and completed high school at Kopernikus Gymnasium.
