Prof. Abel Adekola

Prof. Abel Adekola is currently serving as Dean and Professor of International Strategic Management at Wilkes University since June 2016. Prior to this role, Adekola held similar positions at the University of Wisconsin-Stout from August 1995 to June 2016 and worked as a Visiting Professor at the Carlson School of Management from August 2000 to May 2008, where MBA courses in Strategic and International Management were taught. Earlier teaching experience includes roles at Barry University and Miami Dade College, where Adekola instructed courses in Financial Management, Microeconomics, and Principles of Finance and Economics. Adekola's educational background includes a Doctor of Business Administration in International Management from Nova Southeastern University and an MBA in Strategic Management from Barry University, alongside a Bachelor's degree in Finance and Banking from Florida International University. Adekola also obtained a certificate from the Institute for Management & Leadership in Education at Harvard Graduate School of Education in June 2014.
