Tom Franko

Tom Franko is an Associate Professor of Pharmacy Practice at Wilkes University since November 2013, where instruction focuses on active and team-based learning for pharmacy students in the Doctor of Pharmacy program. Previously, Tom served as a Clinical Pharmacist at Geisinger Health System from July 2012 to October 2013, where responsibilities included developing the first pharmacist-managed outpatient chronic pain clinic on the east coast, enhancing medication therapy management through collaborative practice agreements. Tom also completed a residency at the Department of Veterans Affairs from July 2011 to June 2012, gaining expertise in anticoagulation, medication therapy management, and developing various hospital and pharmacy policies. Tom obtained a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia between 2005 and 2011.
