Mutengwana Mwaba

Mutengwana Mwaba, MSN, APRN-FPA, FNP-C, currently serves as a Family Nurse Practitioner at Will County Health Department and Community Health Center since August 2022, where responsibilities include conducting targeted health assessments and developing individualized wound treatment plans. Previous experience includes roles as a Nurse Practitioner at Oak Street Health and WoundCentrics, where proficiency in wound management and bedside procedures was demonstrated. Additionally, Mutengwana provided comprehensive care for diverse patient populations at VNA Health Care and Kid Care Medical at Legacy. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Nursing with a focus on Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from The University of Texas at Arlington. The academic journey began with an Associate of Applied Science in Nursing from Lakeland Community College.
