Silvia Lazzaris has a diverse work experience. Silvia started their career in 2016 as a Contributor for I, Science and then worked as a Media Production Crew for TED Conferences in 2017. Silvia also worked as a Freelance Journalist for Corriere della Sera and BBC from 2017 to 2020. In 2018, they joined KCA London as an Intern and later became an Interpretive Developer and Senior Developer. Silvia was involved in managing projects, developing written materials, and coordinating exhibitions and events. In 2020, they worked as a Producer for Group Nine Media and as a Features Editor for EIT Food, where they focused on topics related to the food system. Silvia also served as an EJC grantee for the European Journalism Centre, conducting research on online gambling. Currently, they are working as a Course Instructor at Università di Trento, where they teach a science podcast workshop and helps students develop their podcast ideas.
Silvia Lazzaris completed their Bachelor's degree in Filosofia at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore from 2012 to 2015. Silvia then pursued a Master by Research (MRes) in Philosophy at the University of Reading from 2015 to 2016. In 2016-2017, Silvia attended Imperial College London, where they obtained a Master's Degree in Science Communication. In addition to their academic qualifications, Silvia also obtained certification in IELTS from Cambridge English Language Assessment in April 2015.
