Allison Barr

Allison Barr is a visual journalist and social media producer at The Oregonian / OregonLive.com since July 2024, with a diverse background in photojournalism and photography. Currently serving as a photojournalist for The Columbian and Street Roots, and a photographer for Willamette Week, Allison has also been a freelance photographer since June 2015, delivering a variety of photographic services to clients. Previous roles include merchandise prepper for Columbia Sportswear Company, marketing and social media manager for Otra Vez, and studio manager and producer for Video Is The Future. Allison holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of Oregon and has experience in content management and influencer outreach, showcasing a strong foundation in visual storytelling and digital communications.
