Tim Lockhart

Tim Lockhart is a part-time partner at Willcox & Savage, P.C. and formerly headed the firm's Intellectual Property Group. They concentrate their practice on various aspects of intellectual property law and have authored multiple fiction and nonfiction works, including six published thriller and mystery novels. Tim has held significant positions, including Captain in the U.S. Navy Reserve, and has received numerous awards for their service. They have also contributed extensively to the International Trademark Association and served as chair of the Board of Governors of the Intellectual Property Law Section of the Virginia State Bar. Tim earned degrees from Auburn University and Georgetown Law, among other institutions.
