Frank Tripepi has a diverse and extensive work experience. Frank began their career in 1969 as a Sergeant in the US Army. Frank went on to work as an Administrative Assistant for the City of Hawaiian Gardens from 1971 to 1972. From 1972 to 2002, they held various positions in the City of Rosemead, including City Manager, Assistant City Manager, City Treasurer, Finance Director, and Executive Director of the Rosemead Redevelopment Agency. During their time at Rosemead, they played a key role in bringing several prominent entities to the city. In 2002, they became the President CEO of Willdan Financial Services and also held the role of Senior Vice President of Business Development at Willdan Group, Inc. In addition, they served as an interim City Manager for the City of La Puente from 2008 to 2009. Frank was also a Member of the Board of Governors for the Rose Institute of State and Local Government from 2008 onwards. Throughout their career, Frank Tripepi has contributed to the growth and development of various organizations and has a proven track record in leadership and strategic planning.
Frank Tripepi attended California State University, Fullerton from 1967 to 1969. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Political Science. Later, from 1976 to 1980, Frank enrolled in the California State University, Long Beach. Here, they took classes in the Graduate MPA Program, although it is not specified if they completed a degree in this field.
