Maria Nardone

Maria Nardone serves as Co-Director of the Social Issues Department at the American Psychoanalytic Association since September 2020. Maria has extensive experience in psychoanalysis and organizational consulting, holding the position of Director of Technology and Global Learning at the William Alanson White Institute, where Maria has developed online learning programs for mental health professionals worldwide, including a specialized program for Russian-speaking clinicians. Additionally, Maria teaches and supervises postdoctoral students in psychoanalytic training, chairs the Council of Fellows, and leads a consulting firm offering various organizational services. As an adjunct professor at Fordham University, Maria teaches courses such as "Behavioral Health in Primary Care" and has previously served as a Clinical Associate Professor at SUNY Downstate Medical Center. Maria's educational background includes advanced degrees in clinical psychology and psychoanalysis, supported by diverse teaching and clinical roles throughout a prolific career.
