Michelle Kennedy, LCSW-R, is a seasoned psychotherapist and the principal owner of Kennedy Counseling NYC since January 2016, with expertise in providing in-person and online psychotherapy for adults, adolescents, and children across three Upper West Side locations. As a guest lecturer at the William Alanson White Institute since September 2018, Michelle brings valuable insights to the field. Previous experience includes serving as Director of Counseling Services at LIBS, where Michelle provided psychotherapy services and management training, and as a Child/Adolescent Psychotherapist at Leake and Watts Services, Inc., offering therapy and training seminars. Additionally, at Marymount Manhattan College, Michelle worked as a psychotherapist and adjunct professor, providing student counseling and teaching various courses. Michelle holds a BA, MSW, and a Post-Masters Advanced Certificate from New York University, along with a Certificate in Addictions, Compulsions and Eating Disorders from the William Alanson White Psychoanalytic Institute.
