Pamela Adzima has a strong background in the healthcare industry, with significant experience in various leadership roles. Pamela is currently serving as the Chief Nursing Officer at William Bee Ririe Hospital, starting in September 2023. Prior to this, they were the Assistant CNO at Centennial Hills Hospital Medi from March 2019 to September 2023. Pamela also held the position of Director of the Emergency Department at Summerlin Hospital Medical Ctr from February 2014 to March 2019. Pamela's experience also includes roles such as Clinical Manager-ED at Einstein Medical Center Montgomery from September 2012 to February 2014, and Clinical Manager in various departments at Montgomery Hospital from 1989 to 2012. Throughout their career, they have showcased their expertise in managing emergency departments, supervising nursing staff, and overseeing medical/surgical and hospice units.

Pamela Adzima DNP, MHA, RN has a diverse education history. Pamela began their nursing education at Bridgeport Hospital School of Nursing, where they obtained a Diploma in Nursing from 1976 to 1979. Pamela continued their education at Immaculata University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from 2005 to 2009.

In 2010, Pamela pursued further education at Saint Joseph's University, where they completed a Master of Science (MS) in Health Administration / Informatics, graduating in 2012. Additionally, they enrolled at Aspen University, and their Doctor of Nursing in Nursing Administration is expected to be completed in 2022.

Aside from their formal education, Pamela has obtained several certifications throughout their career. Pamela became a Certified Legal Nurse Consultant in September 2017. In 2013, they obtained PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification from the American Red Cross. Pamela also acquired ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) and BLS (Basic Life Support) certifications from the American Red Cross in December 2012. Prior to that, in June 2009, they became a CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) Instructor. Pamela received ABLS (Advanced Burn Life Support) certification in June 2008 and TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification in the same year.
