Doug Holt

Doug Holt is currently serving as the Director of Media and Public Relations at William Blair since June 2025. Prior to this role, Doug was the Global Corporate Communications Director at Northern Trust Corporation from 2008 to June 2025, working closely with senior leaders and marketing teams to enhance the brand through media relations and internal communications. Doug's earlier experience includes serving as the Director of Media Practice at Burson-Marsteller, where responsibilities encompassed media relations, training, planning, and crisis communications, and working as a Reporter at the Chicago Tribune Media Group. Doug began a professional journey as a Volunteer with the Peace Corps from June 1986 to May 1988. Doug holds a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Master's degree in Journalism from Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism.
