Jane Millar

Jane Millar is a seasoned professional in the brewing and distilling industry, currently serving as a Fellow of the Institute of Brewing & Distilling and Chairperson for the IBD Worldwide Distilled Spirits Conference since February 2021. Jane has been with William Grant & Sons since August 2006, where the role as Head of Distilleries Quality and R&D encompasses overseeing quality from raw materials to production processes, while also leading technical development and renewable energy projects. Prior experience includes a position at BP from June 2005 to August 2006, where Jane focused on developing new technologies and managing operational support. Academically, Jane holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Strathclyde and is pursuing a Master’s Degree in Chemistry from the same institution.
