Nick Townsend

Nick Townsend is a seasoned HR professional with extensive experience in diverse roles across multiple regions. Currently serving as a Senior HR Business Partner for William Grant & Sons since July 2012, Townsend oversees HR operations for the UK, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and the CIS/Russia. Previous roles include HR Business Partner for Emerging Markets and various consulting positions at NBT Consulting Ltd, where engagements included assignments with HJ Heinz and SAB Miller. Prior to that, Townsend held HR leadership positions at Lebara Mobile, Virgin Media, 2nd-Byte, Misys Banking Systems, and ntl Communications, contributing to significant HR transformations and strategic initiatives. Educational qualifications include a BA Honours in HR from the University of Strathclyde and a BA in Law and Psychology from the University of KwaZulu-Natal.
