Bruce Aird

Bruce Aird has extensive work experience in financial and administrative roles in various organizations. Bruce is currently working at the William & Mary Foundation as the Chief Financial Officer and at William & Mary as the Associate Vice President for Advancement Services & Innovation, University Advancement. Prior to these positions, they served as the University Budget Officer at Old Dominion University from 2011 to 2023. Before that, they held the role of Director of Financial Information Systems and Operations at Tidewater Community College from 2006 to 2011. Bruce also worked at the City of Norfolk, VA, where they served as the Strategic Planning Manager in the Department of Information Technology from 2003 to 2006 and as the Sr. Quality and Finance Analyst in the Office of Budget & Management from 2001 to 2003. Bruce held the position of Accounting Manager at Tidewater Community College from 1999 to 2001 and started their career as the Business Manager in Athletic Development and Foundation at Old Dominion University from 1996 to 1999.

Bruce Aird has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Strategic Leadership from Amberton University. Bruce also holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Accounting and Business/Management from Old Dominion University.
