Ethan Downs-Decker

Ethan Downs-Decker is currently a Judicial Extern for the Honorable John A. Gibney, Jr. at the U.S. District Courts, with additional roles as Articles Editor and Staff Member for the William & Mary Law Review. Prior experience includes a Summer Associate at Schulte Roth & Zabel LLP and the Office of the Attorney General for the District of Columbia, focusing on Antitrust and Nonprofit Enforcement. As a Teaching Assistant for a 1L Torts class at William & Mary Law School, Ethan also has a background in business analytics, having worked as a Business Systems Analyst at Epsilon and Daisy Brand, as well as various marketing internships. Ethan holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from William & Mary Law School, expected in May 2025, and a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Marketing from the SMU Cox School of Business, completed in 2018.
