Emma Murphy

Emma Murphy has a diverse work experience in the field of communications and public relations. Emma currently serves as the Director of Public Relations at William Osler Health System since March 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Halton Healthcare from 2015 to 2021, holding various roles such as Manager of Communications & Public Affairs, Interim Manager of Communications and Public Affairs, and Senior Communications Consultant. Emma also worked at Joseph Brant Hospital as a Communications Specialist from 2013 to 2015. Before that, they held positions at the Town of Oakville, where they worked as a Senior Communications Advisor in the Strategy, Policy & Communications department, and as a Marketing & Communications Officer at Oakville Public Library. Emma's early work experience includes serving as a Special Events Manager at the Northern Ireland Chest, Heart & Stroke Association from 2002 to 2005.

Emma Murphy attended Ulster University from 1998 to 2001, where they obtained a Bsc Hons degree in Business/Corporate Communications. In 2011, they also completed a Professional Certificate in public sector and non-profit marketing at Carleton University.
