Carl Johns

Carl Johns is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in motorsport design, currently serving as a Senior Aerodynamic Concept Designer at Williams Racing since November 2020. Previously, Carl held positions at ARRIVAL as a Surface Design Engineer, and at Williams Racing in various roles focusing on aerodynamic surface design and mechanical design between 2017 and 2020. Notable experience includes work as a Model Designer for Scuderia Toro Rosso, and as a Motorsport Design Engineer for Multimatic, contributing to the 2016 Ford GT Racecar project. Carl began an engineering career at Caterham F1 Team as a Junior Model Designer and holds a Master's degree in Automotive Engineering with Motorsport from the University of Hertfordshire.
