Chip Wheelock is the SVP, Chief Administrative Officer, General Counsel, & Secretary at Williams Industrial Services Group. Chip has over 20 years of experience in the legal field, with a focus on commercial, corporate governance, regulatory compliance, M&A, and other legal matters.
Wheelock began their career as an Associate General Counsel at Worldwide Xceed Group, Inc., where they managed day-to-day legal and operational issues for a 350-person, nine-office, publicly traded international Internet services company. Chip was responsible for labor, employment, and benefits, employment agreements, employee handbook, stock option plans, reductions in force, visa/immigration issues, real estate leases and build-out issues. Chip also supervised outside counsel in employee grievances, EEOC claims, and general business litigation.
In 2001, Wheelock joined GE Power Global Nuclear Fuels as Vice President and Chief Counsel. In this role, they were responsible for all legal matters for an international nuclear fuel manufacturing joint venture between General Electric, Hitachi, and Toshiba. Chip also served as Vice President and Counsel to GE Hitachi Nuclear Energy and as Senior Attorney with GE Energy Services.
Wheelock joined Williams Industrial Services Group Inc. in 2011 as SVP, Chief Administrative Officer, General Counsel & Secretary. In this role, they are responsible for all legal matters for the company. Chip has also served as Global Power Equipment Group and Worldwide Xceed Group, Inc.
Chip Wheelock has a Juris Doctor from Emory University School of Law, a Bachelor of Arts in Chip'story from Emory University, and a high school diploma from St. Andrew's School. Chip is also certified by the State Bar of Georgia.
