Lauren Wilson

Lauren Wilson serves as the Chief Development Officer at the Williams YMCA of Avery County, directing grant-funded programs and the Annual Campaign while managing proposal submissions for external funding. Previous roles include Director of Funds Development and Director of Healthy Living, where Lauren utilized strong writing and problem-solving skills to support YMCA initiatives and launched various healthy living programs. Additional experience includes positions as an Employee Wellness Intern at Appalachian Regional Healthcare System, Hourly Manager at Applebee's, and Deli Worker at Blowing Rock Market. Lauren holds a Bachelor’s degree in Health Promotion from Appalachian State University, a Certificate in Health Sciences from Liberty University, and is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration from Capella University.
