Michael Kokolis

Michael Kokolis has over 18 years of experience in sales and marketing roles within the hospitality industry. Michael is currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer at Williamsburg Winery since April 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Cavalier Resort Virginia Beach as the Complex Director of Sales & Marketing from April 2018 to April 2023. Michael also held the position of Director of Sales & Marketing at Lord Baltimore Hotel from June 2017 to March 2018. Before that, they worked at Crestline Hotels & Resorts as the Director of Sales & Marketing from January 2014 to June 2017. In addition to their roles, they served on various advisory boards and committees, including the Crestline Hotels & Resorts Sales/Revenue Advisory Board, the City of Chesapeake's Tourism Advisory Board, and the VA Society of Association Executives. Prior to Crestline Hotels & Resorts, they worked at Interstate Hotels & Resorts as the ADOS/Senior Sales Manager from April 2012 to January 2014. Michael also held positions at The Homestead, Westin Hilton Head Island Resort & Spa, Kingsmill Resort and Spa, and Hyatt Regency DFW, where they gained extensive experience in sales and sales management.

Michael Kokolis earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel, Restaurant, and Institutional Management from Penn State University. Michael attended the university from 2000 to 2005.
