Emma Whittum

Emma Whittum is an accomplished finance and administrative professional with extensive experience in the performing arts sector. Currently serving as the Finance Director and Business Manager for the Williamstown Theatre Festival since May 2018, Emma manages all financial operations, oversees payroll for year-round and seasonal staff, and handles Festival purchases and reconciliations. Emma has also contributed as a Finance & Bookkeeping Consultant for WAM Theatre and as a Financial Assistant at The Print Shop Williamstown. In addition to financial roles, Emma has held various management positions, including House Manager at Williams College, where responsibilities included coordinating events for an audience of 550. Emma's background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, Spanish, and Dance from Muhlenberg College, complemented by roles in artistic direction, stage management, and dance performance.
