Nicholas Filipowski

Nicholas Filipowski is an accomplished communications professional with extensive experience in media and public relations. Since January 2020, Nicholas has served as the Executive Director of Communications and Public Relations at Williamsville Central Schools, having previously held the position of Director of Communications & Public Relations. Prior to this role, Nicholas worked as a Sports Anchor/Reporter at WIVB/WNLO-TV (Nexstar Media Group) from August 2017 to December 2019 and at 7 ABC WKBW from 2014 to July 2017. Nicholas's career in sports journalism began at KTIV News 4 as a Weekend Sports Anchor from January 2012 to August 2014, after starting as a Weekend Sports Anchor at KNOP News 2 from August 2009 to January 2012. Nicholas holds a Bachelor of Journalism degree in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, earned between 2005 and 2009.
