Joel Skelton has a diverse background in communication and technical writing. Joel has experience in various roles such as Coordinator of Community Engagement, Consultant, Technical Writer, Human Resources Assistant, and Assistant Office Manager. Joel has a Master of Science in Communication & Media Technologies and a Bachelor of Science in Professional & Technical Communication from the Rochester Institute of Technology.

Our school was founded in 1967 by parents who sought to establish an innovative program for their child. Their focus was on academic excellence and educational achievement. They also wished to have a program that would demonstrate the benefits of deaf and hard-of-hearing children learning alongside hearing children.
