Alexander Thompson

Alexander Thompson is an accomplished aircraft and rolling stock mechanic with extensive experience in various engineering roles across multiple organizations. Currently serving as the Lead Aircraft Mechanic at Willis Aviation Services Limited since July 2023, Alexander previously held significant positions at Direct Rail Services, including Field Support Team Leader and Field Support Engineer. Prior experience includes roles at JSD Rail, BOMBARDIER, DynCorp International, and the British Army, where Alexander gained expertise in maintenance, inspections, modifications, and compliance with safety standards. Alexander holds an Advanced Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Related Technologies and several NVQs from the Arborfield School of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering, alongside a diverse educational background including G.C.S.E qualifications.
