Luke Nelson

Luke Nelson is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in Graduate Medical Education (GME) leadership. Currently serving as the Director of Graduate Medical Education at Willis Knighton Health since January 2021, Luke has successfully led efforts to obtain and maintain ACGME accreditation, overseeing the launch of multiple GME programs. Prior experience includes roles as Administrative Director and Manager of GME at Mercyhealth Wisconsin and Illinois, contributing significantly to program development and the recruitment of inaugural medical resident classes. Luke's background also features positions in healthcare administration, project management, and healthcare research, supported by a Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration from the University of Iowa and a Bachelor’s degree in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology and Anthropology from the University of Colorado Boulder.
