Norman J. Buchanan

Norman J. Buchanan is a seasoned tax professional with extensive experience in leadership roles across various companies. Currently serving as the Global Tax Director at Towers Watson since July 2007, Buchanan was appointed Head of Tax following the company's merger in 2010 and has focused on creating a cohesive global tax department across multiple regions. Prior to this role, Buchanan served as Chief Tax Officer at Cephalon, Inc., where a new tax function was established, and as International & European Tax Director at Crown Holdings, Inc., managing tax planning during significant acquisitions. Buchanan began a career at Price Waterhouse as a Senior Tax Manager and holds a CPA designation and advanced degrees in Taxation and Accounting.
