Jeff Derbyshire

Jeff Derbyshire is a Principal at Willoughby Capital, where he focuses on public and private investments across all of Willoughby’s core sectors of focus. Mr. Derbyshire joined Willoughby in 2017 as the first investment team member focused on direct investments.

Prior to joining Willoughby, Jeff was an investor at Kelso & Company where he executed leveraged buyouts of middle-market companies from 2015 to 2017. Mr. Derbyshire began his career as an investment banker at Simmons & Company in 2012, before moving to Summit Partners in 2014 to focus on growth equity investing. Mr. Derbyshire received his Bachelor of Arts in Economics & History from Vanderbilt University with highest honors in 2012.
