Jo Jewitt

Jo Jewitt has extensive work experience in various senior management roles.

From 2022, Jo worked as a Customer Experience Senior Manager at Willoughby City Council.

Prior to that, from 2019 to 2022, they served as a Visitor Experience Manager and A/Head of Visitor Services and Venues at the Museum of Applied Arts and Sciences, where they oversaw visitor experience development and managed a large team.

From 2013 to 2018, Jo held roles at the NSW Department of Planning and Environment, including Visitor and Tourism Services Senior Manager and Channel and Delivery Senior Manager. They led operational teams and developed strategies for visitor and tourism services across NSW National Parks and Wildlife sites.

Jo Jewitt has a diverse education history. In 1996, Jo obtained a Certificate in Small Business, Advertising, and Hospitality from TAFE NSW. This was followed by a Diploma in Marketing, also from TAFE NSW, which was completed in 1999. In 2007, Jo enrolled at the University of Technology Sydney and pursued a Masters in Business Administration, which was completed in 2009.

In terms of additional certifications, Jo obtained a certification in Project Management from Kepner-Tregoe in November 2019.
