Willowglen Systems
Glen Kahler has extensive work experience in various roles and positions. Glen started their career as an Associate Quality Engineer at Unisys in 1993 and worked there until 1996. Following a personal sabbatical, Glen joined Sierra Wireless in 1997 as a New Product Introduction Engineer and later served as a Project Manager. Glen then became the Senior Director of Manufacturing Engineering, a position they held from 2002 until 2012. After leaving Sierra Wireless, Glen took another personal sabbatical before joining Willowglen Systems in 2013 as an Operations Manager. Glen was later promoted to Director of Operations and currently holds the position of VP Engineering.
Glen Kahler obtained their Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from the University of Manitoba, where they attended from 1988 to 1993. In addition to their bachelor's degree, they have acquired several certifications throughout their career. In 2013, they became a Professional Engineer certified by the Association of Professional Engineers & Geoscientists of ALBERTA. Later, in 2016, they completed a certification program on Introduction to Operations Management from the University of Pennsylvania on Coursera. In 2020, they obtained a certification in Introduction to Applied Machine Learning from the Alberta Machine Intelligence Institute on Coursera. Finally, in 2023, they completed the Functional Safety Engineer certification program on Railway RAMS & Functional Safety provided by TÜV SÜD.
