Wayne Karpoff, M.Sc., ICD.D, has a diverse work experience that spans over several companies and industries. Wayne is currently the CEO and President of Willowglen Systems Inc., a company that specializes in developing and delivering industrial automation technology for mission-critical systems such as pipeline control, distributed power, and rail. Prior to their current role, Karpoff held positions as the Director at both Chernenko Engineering Ltd. and Kanata Health Solutions Inc.
In the early 2000s, Karpoff was heavily involved in YottaYotta Inc., where they served as the President from 2008 to 2011 and previously as the Founder and CTO from 2000 to 2008. YottaYotta Inc. focuses on advanced storage technologies.
Before YottaYotta Inc., they founded Myrias Computer Technologies Corporation in 1990, where they held the position of President/General Manager Founder until 1999. Prior to that, Karpoff had various management positions at Myrias Research Corporation from 1986 to 1990. Wayne began their professional career as a Developer and Lecturer at the University of Alberta from 1982 to 1986.

Wayne Karpoff, M.Sc., ICD.D completed their education at the University of Alberta, where they obtained both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science degree in Computer Science. Wayne also attended the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management, where they completed the Corporate Directors Education Program offered by the Institute for Corporate Directors, earning the ICD.D designation.
