Evan Helbig

Evan Helbig is a Senior Application Security Engineer at WillowTree, where expertise spans multiple roles including Application Security Engineer, Platform Software Engineer, and Software Engineer since October 2018. Prior experience includes serving as a Jr. Software Engineer at Meridian Health Plan, contributing to the redesign of health insurance software to expand membership capacity, alongside responsibilities in database design and SDLC management. Earlier roles comprised a Liability Adjuster at GEICO, handling claims and liability investigations, co-founding and teaching at Winston-Salem Suzuki, and serving as a Graduate Assistant at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, supporting the classical guitar program while developing and leading courses. Evan holds a Master’s degree in Music from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, completed in 2015.
