Megan Bishop is currently working as a Visual and Integrated Art teacher at Willowwind School since August 2021. Previously, Megan held the position of Lead at Blick Art Materials since 2011. Additionally, Megan worked as a Painting Instructor at Brush and Barrel from August 2013 to December 2014, and as a Marketing/Art Director/ Ambassador at Legacy Active Retirement Community from January 2011 to May 2013. Megan holds an Associate of Arts degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies from City High School, Kirkwood College, and the University of Iowa.

At Willowwind School, learning is accomplished through membership in a community. Classes are multi-age and students and teachers work together to form cross-grade partnerships in a caring, purposeful community of learners. Company Overview Imagine a classroom where children are engaged in animated discussions, where cross-age groups work together to create a science project, where partners interview each other for a writing assignment, where learning takes place outside the building as well as inside. All of this and more happens at Willowwind School both in our Montessori-style preschool classrooms as well as in our kindergarten through sixth grade classrooms.
