Monty Moshier

Monty Moshier is a highly experienced professional with a robust background in mechanical engineering and leadership roles within research and development. Currently serving as Managing Director and Research Fellow at WillowWood since June 2022, Monty previously held the position of CEO at MAKSTRIDE, where responsibilities included overseeing R&D, manufacturing, and business operations from January 2006 to June 2022. Monty has academic experience as an Associate Professor at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, specializing in structures and solid mechanics. Additionally, Monty's previous roles encompass significant contributions as a consultant and chief technologist at MATECH Corporation, a senior scientist at RHAMM and Anteon Corporation, and a research scientist at the Air Force Research Laboratory. Monty holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University and has advanced degrees from Virginia Tech and California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
