Carolina Apolo Roque

Carolina Apolo Roque is currently a Visiting Foreign Lawyer at WilmerHale, a position held since December 2023. As a Founding Member of PT-VYAP Portugal Very Young Arbitration Practitioners since September 2020, Carolina has also served as an Associate Lawyer at PLMJ from December 2022 to December 2023 and at CMS Portugal from September 2019 to December 2022, where Carolina initially began as a Trainee Lawyer. Carolina participated as an Oralist in the 26th Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot on behalf of the Nova School of Law from October 2018 to April 2019 and completed a secondment in the International Arbitration Department at CMS UK in 2019. Earlier experience includes a summer internship at VdA Vieira de Almeida in May 2018. Carolina holds a Master's degree in Litigation & Arbitration from NOVA School of Law (2017-2019) and a Bachelor of Laws from both Faculdade de Direito da Universidade de Lisboa (2012-2017) and Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro (2014-2015).
