Serving more than 3,500 students in grades PreK - 8th, District 39 includes the Village of Wilmette and a small portion of adjacent Glenview and Winnetka. Children in grades K-4 attend one of four elementary schools: Central Elementary School, Harper Elementary School, McKenzie Elementary School, or Romona Elementary School. Students in grades 5 and 6 attend Highcrest Middle School. Students in grades 7 and 8 attend Wilmette Junior High School. Graduates of Wilmette District 39 attend the highly acclaimed New Trier High School.
