Cathleen B.

Cathleen B. has a diverse work experience in the library and education sectors. Starting in 1990, they worked as an English Instructor at Westlake Christian Academy for over a decade. In 2005, they became a Library Assistant at Jackson District Library, before transitioning to the Mount Prospect Public Library in 2006. At Mount Prospect, they held various roles including Readers' Advisor, Readers' Advisory Librarian Supervisor, and Assistant Department Head. Cathleen's most recent position was at the Wilmette Public Library, where they served as the Head of Adult Services starting in April 2023.

Cathleen B. completed their Bachelor of Arts in English/Secondary Education from Trinity International University between 1986 and 1990. Later, they pursued a Master of Science in Library and Information Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, School of Information Sciences, which they received between 2010 and 2012.
