Martin Isaksen's work experience begins in 2009 when they worked as an MTC Teacher at Brigham Young University Missionary Training Center, teaching Norwegian and Swedish to senior couples. In 2011, they worked as a Web Developer and Technical Assistant at Brigham Young University, where they achieved various accomplishments such as reducing required backup space by 50% and managing multiple databases and applications.

In 2012, Martin had a series of internships, first at Pudongtrans USA Inc., where they increased the company's presence in Europe and revenue. Martin then interned at Interasia Lines Ltd., where they improved container accounting and reporting processes. Martin concluded their internships as a Project Leader at Cornabys, LLC, where they successfully launched a new product and created an analysis tool.

Martin's next role was a Supply Chain Intern at Vivint Solar in 2013, where they managed inventory and equipment, negotiated prices, and decreased COGS for multiple SKUs. Martin also worked as a Manager of Database Development and Software Developer at 4Life Research, where they planned, designed, and implemented data warehouse solutions.

Starting in 2017, Martin joined Progressive Leasing as a Lead Software Engineer, where they made significant contributions such as deciding architecture and coding practices, as well as leading the team in refactoring legacy code into modern .NET microservices.

Most recently, in 2022, Martin joined Wilqo as a DevOps Engineer.

Martin Isaksen attended Brigham Young University from 2009 to 2013, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management with a focus on Global Supply Chain. Following their undergraduate studies, Martin obtained several certifications from Microsoft. In August 2014, they became a Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate in SQL Server 2012, and in May 2014, they became a Microsoft Certified Professional. Later, in November 2016, Martin achieved the MCSE: Business Intelligence certification. Additionally, they pursued a certification in Microsoft Azure App Service, but the specific month and year of its completion are not provided.
