Dani Shear

Dani Shear is an accomplished writer, director, and educator with diverse experience in the entertainment and educational fields. Currently serving as a writer and director for an award-winning short film, recently recognized with the "Best First Time Female Director" Platinum Prize at the Independent Shorts Awards, Dani is also a producer and co-writer for the feature film "Group Hug," a family comedy. As a 6th-grade teacher at Wilshire Boulevard Temple and a podcast host for "Are You Hiring?", Dani explores the intersection of personal narratives and career evolution. With extensive experience as an improv coach and children's author, Dani has contributed to various platforms including FreshSchools and Modern Mom. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Communications and Performance Studies from Northwestern University and training at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts and The Groundlings.
