Jonah Phillips

Jonah Phillips is an experienced educator, currently serving as a Teacher at Brawerman Elementary School East since April 2023. Jonah has also held various roles at Wilshire Boulevard Temple since June 2014, including Unit Head, Teacher, and CIT Director. Previous experience includes Assistant Director at Wilshire Boulevard Temple Camps from June 2020 to April 2023, and Teaching Associate at Sinai Akiba Academy from August 2014 to February 2022. Jonah began their professional journey as a Senior Counselor at Gindling Hilltop Camp from June 2009 to August 2012. Jonah's educational background includes a DeLeT in Elementary Education and Teaching from Hebrew Union College - Jewish Institute of Religion, and a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs from Lewis & Clark College.
