Lucas Reed

Lucas Reed, PE, is a Vice President at Wilson & Company, Inc., Engineers and Architects, where Lucas leads the West Coast Freight & Passenger Rail division, building a strong team to enhance the company's freight rail offerings and expand into the passenger rail market. In 2023, Lucas chaired the sustainability committee, overseeing the release of the first "People and Sustainability Report." Previously, Lucas served as California Rail Operations Manager, managing the design of a 35-mile track construction project for BNSF’s California High-Speed Rail corridor. Lucas also has extensive project management experience with notable clients such as Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad and Metrolink. Prior to Wilson & Company, Lucas worked as a Civil Engineer at Lochner, supporting various transportation projects for organizations like the Chicago Transit Authority and the Illinois Department of Transportation. Lucas holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Bradley University.
