Phil Hindmarch has extensive work experience in the hospitality industry. Phil is currently the Managing Director at Wilson Vale since March 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Operations Director at the same company from September 2019 to March 2022. Phil also held the position of General Manager Operations from September 2017 to September 2019.
Before joining Wilson Vale, Phil worked at Wilson Vale Catering Management as an Area Manager from August 2012 to February 2017. Phil also held roles as a Chef Manager from November 2011 to August 2012 and as a Head Chef from October 2010 to November 2011.
Their earlier experience includes working as a Pastry Chef at The Black Swan at Oldstead from September 2009 to October 2011 and as a Sous Chef at The Rose and Crown from April 2007 to September 2008.
Phil's career began as a Bar Manager at Le Blue Lady Pub from January 2000 to March 2007, and they started their culinary journey as a Commis Chef at Le Majestic Hotel 5*, La Villa Des Lys in France in 1999.
Phil Hindmarch attended Lycee Auguste Escoffier in France, where they earned a NVQ Level 3 Culinary Advanced Skills in Kitchen degree. Phil also studied at Lycee Professionnel Paul Valery in France, where they obtained NVQ Level 1 in Professional Catering & FOH and Kitchen, as well as NVQ Level 2 in Professional Catering.
