Trey Rahn

Trey Rahn has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Their most recent position is as an Area Manager at Wilsonart since 2022. Prior to that, they worked at GF Linamar from 2018 to 2022, where they served as a Production Manager. Trey achieved significant accomplishments in this role, including reducing machining downtime by 59% in the BMW department and achieving a 75% decrease in required overtime.

From 2016 to 2018, Rahn worked at Flint Group as a Continuous Improvement Manager and later as a Department Manager. During this time, they played a key role in the Lean transformation of the Sleeves Department and successfully reduced scrap by 35%. Trey also contributed to strategic planning efforts to increase throughput in the department.

Before Flint Group, Rahn held the position of Commercial Vehicle Assembly Supervisor at BorgWarner Automotive from 2013 to 2016. In this role, they managed a team and was able to significantly reduce defective parts per million (DPPM) from 450 to 90.

Prior to that, they worked at SMARTRAC N.V. as an A Shift Supervisor, where they implemented standard operating procedures for machine setups, resulting in a 35% reduction in setup time.

Rahn also had a period of entrepreneurship as the Owner of Last Bastion Home Inspections from 2006 to 2010, and they worked as a Retrofit Project Engineer at Haver Services LLC from 2009 to 2010.

Earlier in their career, they also gained experience as an Associate Financial Consultant at Charles Schwab & Co from 2005 to 2008, and as an Associate Area Supervisor at Kyocera Industrial Ceramics in 2000.

Trey Rahn completed their Bachelor of Science in Business Administration at The Citadel from 1995 to 1999. During the same period, they also obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) with a focus on Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services from the same institution. In November 2015, Trey Rahn obtained a Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
