Ted Richards

Ted Richards is the Head of Melbourne at Wilsons Advisory, where they lead a team dedicated to serving high net worth individuals, families, not-for-profits, and family offices. With a background as a professional footballer for the Sydney Swans and Essendon Football Club from 2000 to 2016, they transitioned into the finance sector, holding roles at Airlie Funds Management and Citi Group. They also served as a Non-Executive Director at the AFL Players' Association and as Director of Business Development at Six Park. Currently, they are involved as a Fund LP with Athletic Ventures, focusing on investing in high-growth technology and consumer companies. Ted earned a degree from the University of New South Wales from 2006 to 2010.
