Bobby Rushton

Bobby Rushton serves as the Athletic Director at Wilton High School since July 2022, following a robust career in coaching and education. Prior experience includes roles at New Canaan High School as the Head Wrestling Coach and Offensive Coordinator for the Boys Varsity Lacrosse team, where Bobby developed game strategies, cultivated positive relationships with athletes and parents, and emphasized player development through mentorship. Bobby also contributed as the Director of the K-4 Curriculum for New Canaan Youth Lacrosse Association, Executive Director of the New Canaan Athletic Foundation, and held various teaching positions, showcasing a commitment to fostering community engagement and student success. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Athletic Administration and a Master of Arts in Teaching from Sacred Heart University, along with an undergraduate degree in Finance.
