Tanvi Patel

Tanvi Patel has a strong background in the insurance industry, with experience at Wilton Re and Transamerica Life Insurance Company. Tanvi started their career as an Actuarial Analyst at Transamerica, where they performed market consistent valuations, cash flow testing, and financial projections using MoSes software. Tanvi also participated in pricing various life insurance products and analyzed the effects of sensitivity testing on IFRS income statements. Tanvi later worked as an Actuarial Assistant at Transamerica, where they analyzed and managed valuation and pricing models for different life insurance products. Tanvi also played a key role in developing a long-term care rider model for pricing and valuation purposes. Currently, as an Assistant Vice President at Wilton Re, they are responsible for performing annual embedded value analysis, coordinating and organizing tasks related to embedded value, and reviewing and explaining validations for existing blocks. Tanvi has a strong proficiency in MG-ALFA and MoSes software.

Tanvi Patel obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Actuarial Science / Finance from Drake University from 2006 to 2008. Prior to this, they attended INTI from 2004 to 2006, where they completed the American Degree Transfer Program in Actuarial Science.
