Pawan Nandakishore

Pawan Nandakishore, Ph.D., is a seasoned data scientist with extensive experience in machine learning and analytics. Currently serving as a Senior Data Scientist at Wimmer Solutions since April 2023, Pawan previously held positions at Vroom as a Staff Data Scientist, where end-to-end machine learning pipelines were developed on AWS, and error in cost prediction was reduced by 20%. At Extend, Pawan deployed classification models for over 10 million products and designed a multi-stage SageMaker model pipeline. Pawan's earlier roles include Data Scientist at Colaberry Inc., Co-Founder of the Data Science Club - Career Support group, Insight Data Science Fellow, Postdoctoral Researcher at the International Center for Theoretical Sciences, and PhD Student at Max Planck Institute for Dynamics and Selforganization. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy in Fracture Mechanics from The University of Göttingen and a Master’s Degree in Physics from the University of Mysore.
