Senior Unity Engineer at WIN Reality

Ian Fischer has worked in the software engineering industry since 2003. In 2009, they attended Full Sail University's Game Development course to gain the technical and professional skills needed for the game development industry. Ian then worked as a bartender at Ameristar Casino from 2003-2011. In 2011, they began working as a programmer at High Impact Games, where they incorporated game-play elements into a new game for the PS3/360/WII/3DS. Ian then worked as a game programmer at Liquid Entertainment and Hammercat Studios, where they developed various AR/VR games, tech demos, and applications in Unity3D, native, and ARKit in swift. In 2013, they moved to DAQRI as a software developer, where they developed an extremely flexible core system that 20-40 different applications were derived from. From 2017-2019, they worked at Method Studios as a Senior Software Engineer. Most recently, they are a Senior Unity Engineer at WIN Reality - We're Hiring!, where they enhance existing UI systems to expand support for 3D-focused interactions to facilitate VR-first redesigns of the user experience, translates design specs and prototypes into production-ready systems, and restructures existing game loops and modules to facilitate sustainable development of upcoming design goals and training modes.

Ian Fischer attended Full Sail University from 2009 to 2010 and earned a Bachelor of Science in Game Development.
