Christine Simmons

Christine Simmons has worked as a Medical Oncologist at the British Columbia Cancer Agency since September 2012. Prior to this role, they founded and chaired WinC - Women in Cancer in April 2011.

Christine Simmons completed their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from Queen's University from 1994 to 2001. Later, from 2006 to 2008, they pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Clinical Epidemiology from the University of Toronto.

WinC-AlinC aims to provide opportunities for networking, mentorship, and leadership development for oncologists and trainees, Our organization originally focused on women oncologists but have since expanded to all oncology professionals. Our Goals are to: - Provide a platform where members can communicate with each other through private messages or the discussion forum. - Provide resources for leadership skills development. - Provide a forum for research collaboration and career mentorship amongst clinicians.
