Winchester Cathedral

Winchester Cathedral is an inspiring space. We welcome thousands of people to the Cathedral a year to take part in a huge range of activities, including services and ceremonies, educational visits, guided tours, local festivals and a host of cultural events. Like all major heritage attractions, there is an awful lot going on behind the scenes. Our community of clergy, staff and volunteers support the Cathedral’s mission, preserve and maintain the fabric of the building, and provide an excellent experience for visitors. We employ around 80 permanent staff, offer seasonal vacancies for Christmas, and run a comprehensive apprenticeship programme. In addition to our paid workforce, the Cathedral is supported by around 700 volunteers. There can’t be many better locations to work. Situated in the heart of historic Winchester, the Cathedral is within easy reach of shops and places to eat, and has its own on-site Refectory. The city itself is beautiful and bustling, with excellent road and rail links. We offer a benefits package, and actively invest in staff training and development. For job opportunities and current vacancies please visit the Cathedral website. Charity No. 1202915
